Stainless Steel Welded Pipes – Cost-Effective, Reliable, and Customizable

Our stainless steel welded pipes in 304 and 316L grades are premium tubular solutions engineered for distributors, equipment manufacturers, and contractors in the chemical, marine, and construction sectors. Fabricated from high-purity austenitic stainless steel with precision welding and polished finishes, these pipes offer an optimal balance of structural strength and superior corrosion resistance—making them the preferred choice for fluid transport, architectural handrails, and hygienic processing applications.

  • Recommended Products

Key Features

Superior Corrosion Resistance – 316L contains 2–3% Molybdenum, offering 5x greater resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion in chloride-rich marine and coastal environments than standard 304.
Precision Welded Seam – Utilizes advanced TIG/Plasma welding with online eddy current testing; internal weld bead sanded to ≤Ra 0.8μm for smooth, unobstructed fluid flow.
High-Purity Material Integrity – Low carbon content (≤0.03% in 316L) prevents carbide precipitation during welding, ensuring zero intergranular corrosion in high-temperature or post-weld annealed applications.
Versatile Dimensional Range – Available in OD 12.7mm–508mm with wall thickness from 0.8mm–8.0mm; complies with ASTM A312/A269 and DIN standards for structural and pressure systems.
Optimized Surface Finishes – Options include 180–600 grit polished or mirror finish (8K) for architectural handrails, plus pickled/passivated surfaces for chemical and pharmaceutical processing.

Materials & Finish

· Base Metal (304 Grade): Austenitic stainless steel with 18% Chromium and 8% Nickel; forms a passive self-healing oxide layer providing 10–15 years of maintenance-free service in urban and indoor atmospheres.
· Base Metal (316L Grade): Low-carbon steel with added 2–3% Molybdenum; offers superior resistance to chlorides and acids, extending service life to 20+ years even in coastal, marine, or heavy industrial environments.
· Surface Passivation: Pickling and passivation treatments remove free iron contaminants, boosting the chromium oxide layer to ensure salt spray resistance ≥ 1000 hours (ASTM B117) without red rust.
· Mechanical Polish: 180–600 grit polished or mirror (8K) finish reduces surface micropores, minimizing bacterial adhesion and making the pipe ideal for hygienic applications with zero surface degradation over time.
· Texture Finish (Sandblasted): Uniform 80–120 grit matte texture increases surface area for coating adhesion and diffuses UV rays, preventing glare and surface fading in architectural exteriors.

Applications

· Architectural & Façade Systems – Matte sandblasted or brushed finish pipes used for exterior cladding, handrails, and structural supports in high-end commercial buildings and shopping malls.
· Marine & Coastal Installations – 316L grade welded pipes serving as pier piles, seawater intake lines, and handrails on offshore platforms, engineered to withstand salt spray and humidity for decades.
· Food & Beverage Processing – Mirror (8K) or 600-grit polished sanitary tubes for dairy, brewery, and processing lines where high-purity flow and easy cleanability (CIP/SIP) are critical.
· Pharmaceutical & Biotechnology – 316L EP (Electropolished) pipes ensuring zero bacterial adhesion and high corrosion resistance for purified water (PW) and clean steam distribution systems.
· Industrial Fluid Transport – Pickled and passivated 304/316L pipes for chemical transfer, gas lines, and cooling systems in petrochemical plants and power stations.
